 Antistatic bars in series ABAC are used for discharging static electricity and in applications for removing surface dust and dirt. Bars are single, double and double row with an air knife.
Typical applications are discharging of sheets or webs in printing, converting, packaging, plastics production etc where materials cannot be processed or moved due to electrostatic charge. Another important area of application is the cleaning of surfaces which cannot be satisfactorily cleaned due to dust and dirt particles being electrostatically attracted to the surfaces.
Antistatic bars are built to customers specifications and can be delivered in a self supporting design up to a length of 3 meters.The aluminium shell makes the electrodes completely safe to touch and shields off the electrostatic field in all directions.
Separate high ohmic resistors connect each individual pin to the high voltage lead in the electrode providing high reliability and safe operation in harsh industrial environments.
The bars are connected to a power unit in series PUAC by an interchangeable shielded high voltage cable ensuring installation is safe, uncomplicated and flexible.
