Most antistatic equipment is run by AC voltage.
Power units to be used with AC voltage are generally denoted as PUAC-.
The power units are made for running ionizing equipment from Swedish Electrostatics but can also be used for running many other ionizers suited for 4.8kV AC.
Even though the standard unit PUAC114 is the most commonly used there is often a need to integrate blowing air into the applications. For this reason some units with special additional features have been developed. Units with integrated handling of blowing air are denoted -IAC.
For some special applications it may be interesting to use a DC system. These units are denoted PUDC- and are now available as complete ready to run units with the ionizing electrodes integrated.
All power units are built into boxes made of die-cast aluminium with a protective class of IP65.
